Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu take centre stage in a 70s-set story of the trophy wife who breaks free.
It’s not a spoof, but it has its tongue firmly planted in its cheek, with plenty of cheesy 70s French songs to move things along.
Recommended, if only to see Deneuve & Depardieu on screen together.

Tragic, uplifting, heartbreaking, funny – this documentary has everything.

Yes, the eponymous hero was a handsome young man who drove fast cars for a living.

But the film isn’t about that. It’s about Ayrton Senna the man.

It’s about his relationships – with his family, with success, with his rivals, with Brazil, with God and with himself.

It’s easily the best film I’ve seen this year.

Go see it. You’ll be glad you did.
