Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

I was surprisingly disppointed by this film.

I’ve been trying to get to see it for a while because it has such great reviews and some really good actors in key roles.

While I wasn’t totally dissatisfied, I did think the slow pace made the story drag out too much, and by the end, I was ready for it to finish.

Gary Oldman was OK, but it must have been very difficult to take on this role without being aware of the Alec Guiness’ version.

And my apologies, ladies, but I just don’t ‘get’ the Benedict Cumberbatch thing.  Not only does he look really weird, but I’m not a fan of his acting either.

A very underwhelming visit to the cinema.
